I’m bored. I’m sitting here trying to figure out what to write, and that is entirely the point. Adults need boredom too, but for kids it’s vital. Imagination, patience and grit come from forcing the brain to entertain itself by exploring new things. It’s probably one of the reasons 38% of Stanford grads need accomodations to finish tests and assignments - this generation is never bored.
